Please note: Dolphin watching tours depart from and return to Matsushima (Maejima) Port. Guests arriving at Misumi Port are kindly requested to make a separate reservation for the Amakusa Takarajima Line ferry (Misumi Port ⇔ Matsushima Port).

  • All vessels are equipped with passenger cabins, restrooms, and air conditioning (excluding some boats). Please note that the onboard restrooms are not wheelchair accessible.

• Restrictions

  • Eating and drinking inside the cabin are not permitted, as food odors may contribute to seasickness. Water, tea, and similar non-scented beverages are allowed.
  • Bringing alcohol on board and smoking on the vessel are strictly prohibited.
  • If you wish to eat or drink, please do so in the deck seating area.
  • To ensure the comfort of guests with allergies, pets are not allowed on board.
  • Drone photography is not permitted.
  • Please note that there are no pharmacies selling motion sickness medication at this facility or within walking distance. We recommend bringing your own in advance.

• What to Bring

  • Casual clothing is fine; however, comfortable shoes such as sneakers are recommended instead of high heels.
  • You may get wet from sea spray or sudden rain. Please wear clothing that can get wet or bring a rain jacket. Umbrellas cannot be used on board.
  • You are welcome to bring mobile phones, cameras, video cameras, and other devices on board. Our staff will be happy to assist you with photography!
  • Please take appropriate precautions: sun protection in summer and warm clothing in winter.

• Additional Info

  • Since these are wild dolphins, sightings are not guaranteed. If you do not encounter any, refunds will not be issued; however, we will provide a complimentary boarding ticket valid for one year.
  • A cancellation fee will apply in accordance with the cancellation policy. However, no cancellation fee will be charged in the event of a cancellation due to inclement weather such as a typhoon.
  • The size of the vessel may vary depending on the number of passengers, so it may differ from the ship shown in the photos. Please understand this in advance.
  • Dolphin watching tours operate even in rainy weather, and dolphins can still be seen in the rain.
